This piece is made using reclaimed Southern Pine ship lap reclaimed from a 100-year-old small country church located in Southeast Texas. The church was later used as the town's community center. Aside from witnessing a century of history in this small community, the wood was some of the earliest lumber harvested in the Piney Woods Forest in Southeast Texas.

We hand-craft these items at our location in the Piney Woods area in Southeast Texas. Each is unique and has its' own character. You will not receive the same exact piece as shown in the photo, but one of equal or greater value.
The wood has a nice natural look to it and we have applied a wood restorer coat to the front part. It is not super glossy or sprayed with lacquer. There are natural imperfections that occur with aged wood which only add to the beauty of the finished piece.
The wall hooks are solid cast iron and they are hand-cast. They are finished in a nice rustic brown powder coat finish which inhibits rust.
